Beaumont Apartments was by far the worst place I have ever lived. The entire building constantly smells like cigarette and marijuana smoke, which makes it extremely unpleasant to come home to. The studio units are especially depressing, with another building blocking the windows so there’s virtually no natural light, it genuinely felt like living in a prison. The elevator is unreliable and frequently out of service. When it does work, it often gets stuck and takes forever to move, so you should expect to use the stairs almost every day. Safety in the surrounding area was another major issue.
Probably should’ve figured this would happen as I saw another review about this, but I scheduled a tour today and no one ever came to meet me nor did they answer the phone.
Beautiful apartments but unsafe and poorly managed I lived in this apartment complex for two years and was one of the first residents to move in. During that time I saw a lot of turnover, most people do not stay longer than a year. My experience was complicated but I want to give an honest review to help others know what to expect. First, the rent is extremely high for what you get. This “luxury” complex has hardly any amenities, no pool, a tiny gym, and even parking costs extra, which makes no sense considering downtown theft is common.
