They refuse to give an actual key to units so if the power is out or the key code is malfunctioning there is no way to enter your unit!!!! DO NOT RENT HERE
Every interaction—especially with Jonathan—was warm, responsive, and genuinely helpful. They offered virtual tours, explained alternative units in detail, and never pressured me while I compared options. Although I ended up signing elsewhere due to an urgent move-in date, I’ll definitely keep RISE Berkeley on my shortlist for next year.
I’ve really enjoyed living in The Rise at Berkeley so far. The new appliances in the unit are a great touch — everything feels very modern. The rooftop deck has an amazing view of the Bay and is a perfect spot to unwind. Management is always helpful and responsive.Plus, the location is super convenient. It’s a short walk to UC Berkeley and close to grocery stores, coffee shops, and other essentials. Overall, a comfortable, well-maintained place that’s in a prime area that I’ve enjoyed.
